I've been looking for your site for weeks now! Just trying to get in contact with you...
Here's all the threads I've ever made on the whole fight about this... I know I came on a little too strong at first... but I was really seeing red!! And then I got banned, just for arguing with mephisto. (no, I never have found out what kupIo, bosco and the rest's viewpoints are, except orthancs)

Here's what got me banned: Yea I know it was stretching it, but if you follow the letter of meph's policy it is completely true.

You and item_collector are the only good hackers I've seen for RO so far. It's tough to find people so decent that they are willing to spend hours for absolutely no reason but to help people out.  I really want to get in contact with item, but he almost never posts.
I've also got an idea on how to program mini games for RO!! I'll try to check this forum periodically. (I go everywhere ) But if you want to contact me faster, buzz me over at RagnarokPlus.cjb.net ok?

hi!  i'm trying to stay out of the eyes of the general ragnarok public. I'm trying to stay away from the game altogether, or I may break my promise and go back to it -.- I am really trying to break the addiction so I can get back to programming some projects I am doing for some friends. thanks for what you are trying to do, I appreciate it, but you don;t need to be SO foreful as to the point of making other people mad at you, it usually defeats anything you try to accomplish unfortunatly. I was pretty up to date on the situation, my friend DarkSide kept me up to date on everything that was happening so I didn't have to spend all my tiem checking boards. As to what you did with that horsey in prontera center, i'm assuming it had to do with putting stuff in the /data directory to overwrite the stuff in the .grfs, right?
As for external programs and stuff, I have had ideas and know how to do many things that I believe would make ragnarok better and such, but I don't think it's worth all the tension and hatred it causes, that isn't my intention  , and gravity is too.. @#%$&(#$ slow and unconcerned about us (english server) we can never get a straight answer from them concerning anything, so it's pointless to try, i don't know... i just gave up. Yea, it was that thread from ro.pak0 that led me to here.
It was really well written, trying to stay away from making a decision on it, just laying it all out how it happened. I seriously think that people over at Gravity are having the same heated discussions that we are having at the moment, I've showed them the pretty horsey and got the same response you did... Christy has sent the word to the higher ups, and they are thinking it over.....
Well, I'll be sure to give you a buzz here if something new comes up! Me and my buddy are working on something you'll be interested in right now, but we gotta get a host... hopefully I can get in contact with Seifer at RO+, but he's on again, off again... ^^

I am quite serious about making add ons when it goes pay to play and if gravity will actually give the ok. I feel (hope) most of the immature kids will dissapear when you have to pay for it, and the general community will become much better... so i won't mind spending my time trying to improve it for others, I wrote the program back when I hadn't had that many bad experiences, but it just got worse and worse to the point of playing ragnarok got me depressed and sometimes I wanted to cry... sometimes I did... I need a better server darn my cable company for putting a 128kb cap on it when i used to get 1.5mb upload.

On the third day of beta, I had collected enough money to get myself a plate male, well, I waited around in the weapon shop for 30 minutes trying to get help (20% DC is what i needed), and noone would, one person kept coming back again and again saying they would do it but i had to give them the money first (blue mary I think, i'll just refer to IT as a he), I finally gave in after 30 minutes and gave him the money first, and he then logged off, i waited around for him to log back in and i couldn't get the money back, he just ignored me -.- people are so mean. that was the first big thing that just shocked me about beta, noone would have even thought to have done that in alpha, from them on I never took a single chance and trusted noone unless properly earned.

*sigh* Yeah, alpha was fun... it wasn't about fighting or leveling up, but about having fun! But hey, it's still a lot of fun!

| With the introduction of Ragnarok Online to Beta stage, you gotta be careful of what you do. Trust is in High demand and there are people out there just waiting to scam you. I wish I joined in Alpha, but I'm enjoying Beta as it is. You just gotta be careful, that's all. |
