I am never going to touch another open beta again after this  especially a korean one hehe
Some other good sites have gone down over time, I have seen many of my friends hurt through ragnarok, famous and not famous. People are just real mean. |

| It's cuz she doesnt have a clue what she's saying, or how to make it sound better. How many times do you "sugarcoat" things so that they sound a lot better than what they really are? She can't do that because she doesnt know english. If she knew how to be nice and polite in english i'm sure she would have fed us exaggerated tales and little stretched truths to make it seem as though gravity was fixing our problems. That is what most company's spokespersons do.... She simply doesnt have the english skills to do it. |

I think people's patience these days is very thin...like a piece of paper. -__-
I respect alot of joe's work, I visit his website everyday cause it has alot of important and updated info on alot of stuff, I wonder if Merchant Guild made another backup of his site.
anyway, I think gravity should get someone else who understands english and korean to communicate between fans and company because Christy is having some difficulties on that. :|

| Actually it's the other way around, Alpha had fewer bugs than Beta does, but that's (at least in part) because Alpha also lacked most of the Beta features. Like skills, job levels, etc. Heh, pretty much all you could do in Alpha was beat on things with weapons and use pots. |

You know, am I the only one who reads that letter from Gravity and gets a different connotation than what Joe got? When I read it, I think Christy is merely saying that she condones some hacks that aren't malicious, like Sasami's EXP viewer so long as it is not released to the public.
And I agree with Quanta on Joe's reaction to the whole thing. This is like the 7th time he's quit RO. And no offense or anything, but I don't see what's the big deal about him other than his wonderful database online.
To me, he seems rather...melodramatic and outthere. I hate to alienate myself on a new board, but I'm sort of tired of defending Gravity from everyone since this happened.
Oh, and I'm new by the way. ^^ *waves to Sasami* Your programs are wonderful and I love people like you who do things for the good of a community. ^^ I admire you a lot...I suppose I sound like I'm sucking up now. *wanders off to lurk*

Whee! It's one of a few people that actually agree with me! 
Everybody's too bitchy about...everything. They don't care whether the community lives or dies, and the truth is that the community is what keeps the game going...very few people in the RO community are virtuous enough to have the near-infinite patience necessary for a game made by a foreign company. =P

*gets teary eyed* A kindred spirit!!! I've spent the past few days fighting with everyone in RO.pak0 and the official site BBS defending Gravity against everyone who thinks that a free beta should cater to all their needs.
RO.pak0 is awful now. The new mods are starting this petition demanding that Gravity make the English servers on par with the Korean one always and that Gravity hires an English staff. My posts against that get deleted as spam so I gave up. But I totally agree with you. Not many people seem to realize that the language barrier in this beta is a big factor in a lot of our problems.
Also, most of the people who play seem to be bent on instant-gratification. I mean lately, everyone is just spamming the BBS with things like "GM plz read!!! My character is stuck!! Y dun u fix it now?!?!?!??!??!?" It makes me so mad.
I'll stop ranting now. ^^;;
