Well since the server isn't saving games right now some people were dropping all their items (Izlude - Loki). They'd log out and back in and drop the items again. They had a semi large crowd following them. I stocked up on items until it made it so the equip section would have to scroll.
I'll post a couple, meaning 2, screenshots later.

Then they are screwed, but I know one of them quit doing it. I believe both the people that were actually talking quit dropping items.
I logged in to check up on things, saw this happening visit RS and read about it not saving games. So I decided to stock up for fun. It would be really funny if my game got saved, but there will probably be a roll back to right before the saves stopped working to insure no duplicates.

there might be a way to abuse this......
if you were to drop ten crowns and pick them all up again......and wait for the dataserver to be fixed den exit...... you might be able to keep all those items..... but i highly doubt it that will happen...

unfortunately...... once again they show that they really care much. sigh.
many people were able to abuse it.
once person earned 1.7 BILLION dollars.

you must mean zeny, I hope. @_@
yes, there's alot of cheaters, but then again, the game is all about gaining levels. there are no more goals to achieve, no quests or side-story or anything, just gain more and more exp. *sigh*
ro cheaters should play progress quest instead.

sigh......
back awhile b4 i came here..... i proposed to gravity about in game moderators.
christy said theyre were testing my proposal....... if i was an in-game mod i would ban everyone cheating and exploiting items and bugs.
its just not right... people can learn to be cheap and lame in real life thinking they could 'cheat' life.

progress quest is pathetic....... just like the bots...... why play the game when the computer basically plays it for you? totally defeats the purpose of the game rpg...... its more like the computer becomes the rpg player.

we would have to make a deep search through the male ego to find out the answer. 
anyway, I have the feeling lots of people think like:
"the means justify the ends" --> trans: we're cheating but we need a good reason for our conscience
"its to hard to lvl up" --> trans: we're to lazy and problably will end up in the streets as bums

Hrmm I dunno, I've never ever used bots (even back in the days of the original bbs systems when telephone MUDs were really really popular and you had to program your own bot and it was a challange). But I really LIKE Progress Quest! It gives me something to watch OTHER than my merchant as he just sits there for like 5 minutes recovering hp after killing stuff for awhile or between ocing things... I'm not really using the processing power for much else. Certainly not the bandwidth. So it just sits quietly in the corner of my screen happily lvling itself up, giving me some feeling of accomplishment while my merchant sits and waits. Also the names for stuff are really amusing to watch.

I dunno, I kinda liked the not saving when you log off thing, a bunch of us were wasting our SP on Warp Portal and stuff (it's fun putting them on roofs and in the water and watching people try to get to it) then we'd just char switch to get our SP and gems back. Unfortunately it was fixed right after I'd wasted my SP and 13 gems, so it kinda sucked when I switched and ended up right where I'd logged out at.

I'm never selling or giving anything out ever in the game again. It turns out almost every person I have given an item/money to, I later find out uses cheats and or uses bots. I give up, I trust noone in the ragnarok community anymore.
