You know, things aren't that bad in ro, there are still some good people, the percentage is very low but they compensate it all. 
with my merchant character i see both these people, the ones who say like "I want 16z potions now! you *bip* merch!  " and the ones who are looking desperately at the items rack with very few money and a good heart.
bah, getting all sentimental..

i know.......
its sad really. most of my friends are using bots. im like the only one out of my whole ragnarok group who stands totally against bots. i hope sooner or later, other will join me in my cause. and about doomcraft's comment.
well maybe this is why we will have the manner point system. just dunt abuse that too.

yea, i recently found out my friend was running a bot...and i remember back in the day when we both cursed them... guess the dark side was too strong... don't lose hope Sasami (sp? lol) there are still a few honorable players... just wished that there were more...

lol i will stand against bots all the way all the time..... problem is...... i dunt have ppl supporting me much...... everyone is too cheap...... my friends i even expressed my anger up front at them. right now...... bot central is payon caves.....
least bots ive seen is in bibalan dungeon lvl 1 and 3..... and the hidden temple lol...
i bet you this...... if you can get a bot into the hidden temple...... it'll never earn any exp. i just wish i had enough money to make an warp acolyte =/

ppl should organize a protest agains bots.
like, day x at y hours all players against bots should reunite at prontera's center with chat windows saying "we dont want bots!" or something.
that would strike a point.

That's the thing, these people are all my friends and acted nice, and now I find they cheat and use bots and it makes me real mad. |

same here...... it just pisses me off........ i was talking to them about in game moderators...... since i was the one who made the proposal to gravity about it, I hope theyll promote me...... i would love to ban my friends for using bots.... god..... im so vengeful...

well i meant ingame mods..... specifically. christy directly told me that they are testing my in game mod proposal on the korean servers. if all things go well she said it would be implemented. she said my proposal not anyone else's.....

| she said "your proposal" because it is what you proposed to them, although it was proposed to them hundreds of times before, as a matter of fact, I think there are some other threads on this board over a month old with other people saying they also proposed it. |

| All my real offline friends quit back in alpha and went to DAOC, and they all eventually quit that too... come to think of it, they quit every mmorpg they try, no loyalty although i have a feeling most of them are gonna stick around on Star Wars Galaxies when it comes out I would quit ragnarok in a heart beat honestly if I wasn't still into it to help other people have a good time. I no longer really enjoy it because of the current state of the community, but I do enjoy programming for it. |

I know lots of people that don't bot, hack, etc. and personally I never have and never will either, especialy not in online games. I suppose it's just personal preferance, but the people I find myself hanging around with in pretty much any MORPG I get into just want to play and have fun with their own skills and don't need to cheat to get anywhere, and RO is no exception.....the Parish is the biggest group of decent gamers I've been involved with in a long time.
Heh, lurk on our forums for a while, you'll see what I mean.
