i saw this acolyte who used ascii codes as msgs and guess what? they DISCONNECT BOTS INSTANTLY LOL but i dunno how to do it -.- does anyone know?? sasami could you investigate this and it might help d/cing bot looters?

| it's been an exploit in the bots for a long time, but it doesn't permanently dissconnect them, they come right back, i've been trying to find a way for permanent disconnects. The way that acolyte was crashing them is an old exploit where you just remove the final 00 from the packet and change the size byte accordingly. |

could you teach me??
i attempted to test out the method they posted on the bbs board. but it wont show my packets....... why?
ok strange....... i tested out the 0.7a version and when i try to select the ragexe.exe.... it says dll injection failed. ???

I personaly, am also very interested on how this exploit can be accomplished it may not work permanently but there may be some way to get it to work for the duration the bot character is on the same screen you are and that alone would be valuable enough to make the knowledge worth having.

Use the 1.3 version...

option---> winsock version --> 2
after building ur filter ( 86 as Hex rules...) u have to check the box next to it and then u have to click on OFF to turn it ON (who the hell progged this????) |

even it is temp.. is there way to do a "pulse" broadcast... so it send the packet every 30 seconds or a min.. so all bots in the area just crash

Maybe u could do this with the send packet function, but i guess, it will just lag the server...
btw: what happens when the bot has /exall??? does he still crash?

probably not......... since it has to see the msg.........
if know a bot's name you can d/c it from using a private msg lol
even better........ make a chat room with the screwed up lettering and you will create a anti bot ward lol!
anyways could someone give me step by step instructions on how to work this dam thing?

[Edit] Nvm, found out how to do it again. And I love it even though they can reconnect. Just watching them get d/c makes me happy

Some of the new bots are emune to this now. Won't say which or whose to keep them out of others hands.

I did this to one bot, but then, when he relogged, he seems to be immuned to it
