Greetings!

I'm new around here, so I decided to say hello. Normally I don't post on forums, but this is one of the few that I like to read up in. So, anywho, I'm saying hello to all, and stuff.

Oh yeah. I come with jpgs (beware of strangers baring gifs... ;^)! I kinda like to provide more then just a simple hello and whatnot to people, so I tend to post stuff that's better pleasing to the eye then text alone.

I don't know how to make links with the board, so you might have to cut and paste the addys. ; Anyways, the first pic is my character DemonDemon in RO, and the second is a drawing of Rockman W, a Megaman spinoff comic that I'll be drawing. If you like these, you could also check out my comics at http://testzero.keenspace.com

Well, ummm, that about it. So Hello to you all again!

(if your wondering, I'm Canadian and way too happy. )

to post a link:
replace all "< >" with "[ ]"
[a href="NameForLink"]url[/a]

Lemme show you a little trick, daishi...

if you use character references, you can show right and left angled brackets without them getting interpreted by the browser. When you edit posts with excapes, however, the escapes usually get replaced with the characters that they're for on most forums, so you'll always have to put the references back in.

The syntax is ampersand, entity reference, then a semicolon, so...

for left angle bracket, < (produces: < )

for right angle bracket, > (produces: > )

for ampersand, & (produces: & )

You can also use character codes by using a # and then the character's numeric code (hex or decimal, use a 'x' after the pound for hex) in place of the entity reference.... err, here, just look at what the w3c has to say Character references.

Reading w3c recommendations is fun!

heh, np, lemme know if you have any questions... if you're interested, I can prolly dig up some beginner resources... but the w3c recommendations really are fun!

(well, actually, the w3c recommendations really prolly are reasonably good, if you can stomach reading them through like that, since a lot of the sites I used when I was starting out are probably out of date, unless they've really been updated since then... a lot of things have been deprecated since then, and what you should prolly be learning is the XHTML recommendation, anyway, if you want to know more than just a few tricks for forums... some good habits to get into for future stuff)

Oh, and, yes... *looks embarassed* ahh, greetz to Test! since I somehow forgot to before ~_~

Welcome Test-0
And in my book theres no such thing as TOO happy

If you want to post an acctuall picture on the board, and not just a link to it, use:
['img']URL to picture here['/img'] (without the ' )
(thats taken from the FAQ btw )

And I think I'll have a look there Raveus, i dont know any more then daishi, heh

And grats on mod status daishi, I woke up to a nice PM too, heh

EDIT: mistakes all over the place
