what do u think about bots?
r they a pain in the @$$?
or r they just something that is very useful to people that doesn't have time to play ragnarok?

hmm ~_^
-Bots hammer the login server, that's why you can't login 80% of the time.
-Gravity has stated before that they do not approve of "ragnarok emulators", i.e. bots.
-If before I go to sleep I turn on the bot, then tomorrow I am 3 levels higher, wouldn't you call that cheating?
-There are lots of people out there who don't have all the time in the world to play, but they don't use bots. Yet, there's also people with lots of time on their hands who use bots too.
-Bots are a hassle in-game because they don't talk back, it's extremely difficult to get rid of them when they are bothering you and some of them are specifically programmed to loot and killsteal.
-Gravity has stated once that the reason english is getting farther behind (no hair dyes, turning heads, new hats, mandragoras/hydras, etc...) is because of the hacking issue slowing down their progress.
Personally, I wouldn't mind it if Gravity did the following to get rid of bots yet satisfy users enough to stay:
-Anti-hack software to prevent bots from logging on
-Complete server wipe (to preserve names, all characters are reverted to lvl 1/1)
-New exp system so even if you don't have much time on your hands, you can still level up fast enough to keep you happy 
and while their at it, put up a thailand server so that we don't get worse-then-when-the-servers-were-in-korea lag  |

the last i think is bull, they just to bizzy with BETA2 and korean server and japan server

Bots are really a pain when they killsteal and looter you. That really burns me up.
What I think Gravity should do is instead of spending all their time fixing Server errors made by bots, they should just shut down English Servers until an Anti Bot is made.
But that's just my opinion.

I'm not sure if it just me or does this happen to everyone else.. I notice when I'm in town or in a place with no bots.. I run just fine... but when I run into a bot.. or even 2-5 bots.. my RO game starts to slow down almost to a crawl

There is nothing I hate right now more than bots especialy since some guy was using my name on his bot to secure his privacy but at the same time make me loook like an ass. He wasn't even a mage! He was a swordie! :-( . Is it just me or are Swordies the most common bot class.

They have high vit, so they can go to a number of places with no problem at all. And acos may have high vit too, but the ratio of acos to other classes is like 1:20. Hard to lvl up. Oh well, just some thoughts. I guess the main reason why swordies are the most common bot class is that they are the most popular.

actually, i think the reason they choose swordies is for the hp regen. with other classes, it takes forever to sit and regain, and pots only last so long... a sm with 10 regen is back on his feet in minutes...
