I think what "reasoning" is that.. if you "patch" the exp viewer on RO.. and it doesn't work.. you can revert to the non-patch version

if you patched with the xp viewer and you want to go back, go to http://www.ro.pak0.com then go to the patches section on the left. dl the newest patch and look inside. if it has a ragexe.exe, use that. if it doens't have one, move to the next most recent. before you repatch, make a copy of ragexe

Damn, the day I get back from Lejune is the day I hear about this mess.
Oh well, I gave up on the game months ago and just ranted on the forums when I felt like it. Then I moved on to ROM hacking...
