Bypass the patch Client in beta2.
Can someone plz tell me the exact steps i have to go through to bypass the client?

make a shortcut in windows and point it to
"c:\program files\gravity\ragnarokonline\ragexe.exe" -1rag1
assuming you put it in its default directory.

| It's better not to bypass the patch server. (and since it's a lot faster you don't really need to) Also gravity is suposto be putting in/have a way so that if you bypass is you'll be kicked from the game. But well since they take forever fixing bug, I don't see this coming anytime soon. |

| Sometimes the patch server goes down so you can't get into the game (like how it was all day today), but the game is still running fine. This is an example of when to use it. And gravity will not put up a check to see if you skipped the patch server. They put the -1rag1 in the exe for a reason. |

are you sure sasami? i know most programmer put in things for error checking and what not. something like this would be reasonable for gravitys testers so they could go on without having to go through the patch server. A lot of games have stuff like.. "hold X Y and A for 3 secs at loading screen and menu will pop up" its just not removed. though i don't know exactly how the -1rag1 works.. i figure the -1 skips the first step or rag1 loading, or something like that.
