I guess i gave up, but that doesnt mean i suck, anyways i never cheated in ff7. It was a great game, which i played over 3 times. The only times i cheated, was with the gameshark, which got me aeris or other weird stuff.
And my levels were maxed out. but i still couldnt beat it. It wasnt possible.
And Yes, i would like u to come and lvl up my RO char to 99. Message me if u want to know my address. |

Rose, was not possible to beat. She would do that swirl thing, and take away my char. during her turn. If i was lucky and she didnt do it. then i could have killed her.
what was it? like 20 knights of the round?
But if that happened, i wouldnt have really beaten her. I needed to do it in like 4-5 attacks. which would be how long i regularly would last.
Anyways lets not talk about that.
The only reason i mentioned about ff7, was so ppl can relate to what am trying to convey. That is, Rose wasnt a challenge, she was impossible.
Back to Ragnarok, I have played Ragnarok, im lvl 55, i want to finish the damn game. Thanks.
And i have use cheats in the pass. for games which i just wanted to finish.

This game has too much potential for greatness
It reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics (my all time fav game =P)

How u could stand people cheating on starcraft is beyond me. If i knew the address to people who used hacks in starcraft, man.....id pop their eyes out.
and hackes in D2 were also ghey.
My brother played CS, hacks made him quit that game.
Let me sum up what u have said. Cheats are ok, if the game sucks. You rather have someone cheat u 1on1, but hate it more if it doesnt affect you, at all.
FFT is a great game and i always loved to see ppl play that game and die in the battles. Very Humorus. But it got way to easy in the end. Cause i think i died like 20times in the beginning battles, and only got "stuck" twice, the one with the princess getting hanged (but it wasnt really the princess) |

I have to say it, but Ruby Weapon was not that hard.
You come in with 2 of your characters KOed. Cast hades and the fight is basically over right there, you do have to wait for its fingers to come up first. Also Final Materia helps as well. Final Attack + Phoenix = Back to life with a kick(must have the mp to cast). KoTR was not a plausible starting attacking against Ruby.
Anyways I'll say it again, cheating in MMORPGs is not something one should do. No matter what you say your actions will possibley ruin the game for someone else or otherwise degrade their play value.
Also if you want an impossible boss (Well not impossible but extremely hard) Star Ocean Second Story, final boss limit OFF.

And Yes, i had heard about that, i think i remember thinking that it was pretty cheap or something. I had used the walkthroughts on gamefaqs to get the last materias. But i didnt feel like doing it like that. Like, there was also some tricks u could use, but why stop there? u could just do it with the gameshark.
I think this one probably would have worked.

People play games to escape life, not to be forced into a replica of the real world. Also you don't cheat in real life, you may scam or con, but those are illegal. As long as what you do in real life is legal it is not cheating, same with a game. If it follows the games rules it isn't cheating.
Also you probably could beat Ruby that way in the FAQ but I didn't use that way. Anyways I do not consider FAQs cheating, because, though they give you an advantage, they do not give you the items/skills. You still have to work for them it is just a little less work.

but im not relying on hacks/cheats.
its not about having more "fun"
its not about self gratification
its not about having a job well done
its not about cheating to get "ahead"
its not about getting attention.
it is none of those things and more. Just look at RO as a single player rpg.
now, imagine that the game was pretty good at the start. and for about 50 hours of gameplay, its been pretty good. But now. U find out it will probably take another 80hours of play to finish the game. And u got bored at 65hours.
thats just pretty much how i feel... i guess..

Earlier today.
I was hunting and i saw a player using a speed hack!
I got pretty pissed at that and for some reason i was so angry enough to send the ss to gravity.
Now i dont usually get pissed much about the happenings in RO, but for some reason or another, i was really pissed about this. I wanted something very evil to happen to him/her, NOT just the char.
Why?... why did i feel this say? it wasnt very rational... i mean.. its just a game.......................................................................I think...It happens when you feel that you've done so much or u love something too much. Like in life, if you have worked hard on something and others get it for free. Or someone cheats on their exams while u studied your ass off.
And also, I remember when my friend cheated or uses a walk-through on a rpg i loved. I felt reason to disapprove.
I think both of those feelings when towards the cheater/hacker.
But then again... Playing Ragnarok Online isnt very much entertaining as it once was , and i would like to end it, and leave the game but since mmorpgs currently dont have endings i am lost to what to do.
and i reviewed my current status of RO.
It WAS in the beginning, a colorful game, with nice graphics, nice people and having no intentions. It was a game that u play when your bored. or have nothing better to do. At some point, that changed, i started to play for the levels, and to raise up my levels as quick as possible. And then after i got to a certain lvl, the game totally lost its wonder. There was no point in it. and all i wanted to do was end this game. But its not very possible. The only thing i could think of is if you kill all the bosses (get mvp i mean) would be like finishing the game. You could leave with the feeling like it was finished.
And going back from that.
I probably would have used the programs too, if i had the chance.
And well.... I do want to use them. I want to get to lvl 99, I want that speed hack, i want a bot program. why do i care if other people get pissed about it? its a game, and thats all it is. and its starting to become a boring one. So i should just get to lvl 99, finish the game anyway i can, and leave the game thinking it was fun.
OR. i could go back into the game, hunt around for hours on end never get close to it.
**More** On a different note.
anyone watch that .hack//sign ? or something like that. its an anime where this kid gets traped in a mmorpg. hes really in the game.
Now, i watched the first episode. He couldnt log out for some reason, and when he notices that hes no longer in front of a moniter and really IN the game. he becomes pretty happy about it. and he said (english translation) "i wont have to return to that shitty world, this is not that bad"
I dont play mmorpgs to "escape" from reality like some other people have mentioned before. This isnt the matrix and we dont have a holodeck.
ps. dont take my $**t too seriously... or u might end up dead.

Yep, that's how I beat it. Knights of the round and a mime for everyone in the party helps aswell. |
