Gravity just seems extremely paranoid about anyone wanting to help... they seem to want to do it all themselves...
If this is the only way to get those fixed, so be it. Let 'em loose!

Probably end up forcing Gravity to do a full Character Wipe, which I'm not against.
Doesn't really matter to me, the game I've been waiting for 8 months to see the first demo of finally released their first Tech Demo. Not much in it, just walking around and the first town, but it shows promise.

yea.. funny thing.. I think the bot users don't mind a full character wipe... look at loki.. they are pretty much dominate that world...
on chaos there are some legit characters that they cannot stand them being on top.. so if they do a total server wipe... bot users will be on the top on Chaos too 
and to think.. I finally got two earrings (bought them) with my hard earn zeny
oh well... it is beta... if they wipe..what can we do? hehe... it is beta.. it is beta

I'd be hoping that they at least try to fix the bots and when it looks like they've gotten most of the bots out and other hacks then do a character wipe.
What about that whole nProtect thing on the Korean and Japanese servers?

well if this happens...im off ro for a while (no sense in lvling if it might get erased)
the only real problem that i see are looter bots and bots in general. hacks that erupt suddenly seems to be fixed by gravity pretty quickly. like equip anywhere. right now i dont see any widespread hacks......

I'm pretty sure that I was the one to inform Gravity about the triple equip and such. The bots are a bit of a problem right now, encrypted packets would wreck that whole field, that is, until a hardcore cryptographer with acess to a supercomputer got into it - and that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. (And by then, the unbreakable cryptos will probably be up and working. Anyone read the theories on it?)
If someone could give a quick rundown on how to set this up, or how to go about finding out how to set it up, I'll pass it on to Gravity. Sasami, send me an email to insante@email.com and I'll pass it on to Christy to see if she wants to give you her other address ok?
I wouldn't mind losing everything either, but I don't think that we should lose what we have just to take away the stolen stuff others have. (like unearned exp) I think a rollback would have to be strictly if there were no way to keep the servers stable with corrupted info on the charachters.

Oh and in reply to the 'annoying pak0 ppl' thread. (I just don't want to bump that one y'know...)
I've been around, you know I check almost every forum there is, and I just started coming here before GC.
I'm gearing up for another move on pak0, hopefully a compromise of some sort, but it depends on them, of course. I get a feeling they are debating it pretty hotly over there, but since I can't get into the admin forums I can't tell how it's going y'know? Wish me luck!
Haven't done anything with ixga or rsource, mostly 'cuz I wanna take it one step at a time. Rsource was all a misunderstanding anywayz....
(can't figure out how to get the coding on my sig workkin either....)
